FencelineData.org Phase 2 Update

FencelineData.org is a collaborative work of UJDP, Public Health Watch, Datakind and Material Research.

The data you need

One system. Multiple EPA programs.

EPA data can be difficult to navigate and interpret and it can be challenging to find all of the different websites where the data is stored. Released to the public in 2024, with FencelineData.org, users can access multiple datasets, including federal data on chemical and greenhouse-gas emissions and enforcement actions in one place. The 2025 update added new and updated datasetsthe preparation for a secure community data space that will launch in 2026.

In addition, with the removal of Federal datasets, the FencelineData tool and ecosystem will be a way for journalists and concerned community members to access the data. The FencelineData ecosystem will also include a secure community data space where community groups can share datasets and communicate with each other. The FencelineData ecosystem is currently expanding to include more tools to assist journalists and concerned community members.
