Climate Change Cultural Exchange

In 2025, with funding from the University of Michigan, UJDP partnered with the Somali Center of Louisville to hold, what we hope will be the first of many climate change culturqal exchanges. The goal of this program is to facilitate cross-cultural learning on the impacts of climate change. Since poetry is very important to Somali culture, thie even featured several poems about climate change and how it impacts Somali culture.
